Suzanne Snyder

Suzanne Snyder was born in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1962. She lived in another town in Illinois, Glenview, for seven years, until her family moved to Seattle. Following a brief but prolific modeling career, Snyder auditioned for and landed guest roles in CHiPS and CLASS (1983).

Eventually Snyder appeared in the 80s cult hits WEIRD SCIENCE (1985), with Anthony Michael Hall and Bill Paxton, Fred Dekker’s alien-zombie extravaganza NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986), and horror-comedy sequel RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD II (1988). Snyder also starred in what is arguably the ultimate midnight movie of all time: KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (1988), thus cementing her as a cult horror hero.

In the 90s, Snyder appeared in guest spots on several popular shows such as MURDER, SHE WROTE and SEINFELD. She currently lives in California with her four children and often appears at horror conventions.

Snyder will be appearing at Silver Scream as one of our “Heroines of Horror” alongside her fellow icons Barbara Crampton and Kelli Maroney!
